First impression

It's the first introduction of the girls. I immediately liked them. I noticed Shirley is speaking with an accent then Cindy Williams explained she thought she needed one. Since everyone on the set is from New York but the show takes place in Milwaukee so. Laverne did have family from New York, still. I loved the chemistry between these two and the intro to Lenny and Squiggy was pretty well developed from the start. And, of course, The Fonz to help kick off this new spinoff of Happy Days.

Guest stars Richard Stahl and Kathryn Ish, who played snooty couple Marshall and Vivien Stewart, were married in real life. Also their characters made several references to their daughters, "Binky and Allegra". In real life they had a daughter named Allegra.
