In the company of his peers at a bar with other Santas, mall Santa Al recalls Christmases past when he managed to avoid buying gifts for Peggy, Kelly, and Bud by turning them against one other (shown in a pseudo-flashback to 1974). But this year the family shows a united front and give Al the gift of a list of job he must take to get Christmas-gift money. One of the jobs is playing Santa at the mall, which becomes another opportunity for Marcy and Jefferson to taunt and browbeat Al. Written by Anonymous
When the family decides to get jobs, Al couldn't be more happier but the jobs are all for him including working as the mall Santa Claus and dealing with the kids and Mrs. D'Arcy who has a sing-a-long to remember regarding Al Bundy's life. He goes to the Santa Bar where he insults an elf. The bar has a no elves policy. He almost gets into a fight with volunteer Santa who say "If you do good for others, you will get back ten-fold." One of the other Santas holds Al back and jokes "You can't help it, he pushed you." Anyway, Al finally has the money to buy them nice presents like breasts for Bud, a watch for Peggy, a television for Kelly so she never has to read, a bike for Seven, and nothing for Buck as usual. This episode features a flashback to when the family was younger except the kids just act younger.
