Did you know
- TriviaAndy Kenesaw is obviously a veiled reference to Kenesaw Mountain Landis who was the first baseball commissioner particularly with the comic titled "Safe to Home". In addition, the name having only one "n" is unusual as the actual Battle Kennessaw Mountain after which Landis is named has two n's so his name is a misspelling.
- GoofsMac incorrectly says "FWV" when referring to the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). In fact, Kenesaw wears a cap with a FWV emblem on it - apparently they didn't want to refer to the real one (VFW).
Clearly this is an intentional error so as to not connect the Veterans of Foreign Wars with a television drama where a character gets poisoned within the VFW so it was changed to WVF.
- Quotes
Stewart McMillan: [McMillan calls Central Dispatch and orders a helicopter to pick him up] Been in a helicopter?
Sgt. Charles Enright: Actually, sir, I'm more of a balloon man.
Stewart McMillan: What?
Sgt. Charles Enright: I mean I'm full of hot air but I can rise to the occasion.
[McMillan turns and gives him a queer look]

The baby disappeared ... again!
Earlier in the series, Sally was pregnant and between seasons the baby disappeared. Now, after watching Susan Saint James pregnancy grow and Grow and GROW, they announced the delivery of a baby boy in the last Season Four episode. Here in the first Season Five episode, once again no mention is made of the baby.
Now to the mystery. The mystery is fairly non-descript and the actual reason for events of the show aren't revealed until the last 20 minutes. In the meantime we get a very brief couple of scenes with Bill Demarest (at that time recently Uncle Charlie from My Three Sons) and a LOT of scenes with the wonderful Mildred Natwick, reprising her role from the last show of Season Four as Stuart McMillan's mother.
The show is worth the performances, if not the story itself. However, her solution to confronting the bad guy is nice. :-)
