This "Melrose Place" episode from season 5 which first aired on Jan 13, 1997 called "Escape from L. A." is one memorable one. As it was the last one and exit for one character in Jane(the attractive and sexy Josie Bissett) for one Jane has plenty going on just having discovered her real mom, and very unexpected her fashion boutique shop is robbed one night just before closing. Just as Billy and Sam leave and Jane reaches for her keys to lock up a strange man enters points a gun and steal money from the cash register. Most memorable were the scenes and images of Jane being tied up with her hands behind her back and she was gagged with a pink colored scarf. Josie Bissett for sure had a damsel in distress scene, and this destroyed Jane with fear so much that after meeting her real mom(Donna Mills) she decides to leave and go back to Chicago and be with her mom and dad that raised her. Was sad and hated to see Jane go and this be her last episode.
