This episode looks very like one of the Baretta series last episode I commented last week. I mean the lead copper character is accused here of bribery, because the Internal Affairs found him with an attache case in which there were ten thousand pounds in bank notes. I guess this is a recurrent scheme for any crime series in which there is a lead cop, honest cop I mean. A lead police officer who has to prove his innocence, and demonstrate the set up. By who and in what purpose? I don't remember if there was such a scheme in SWEENEY show. I think so, this awesome TV British crime series was so realistic and so far from clichés...Back to this episode, you deal here with a solid story, even a bit predictable. But very entertaining.
