Quotes

Audrey Horne: What a gyp. Finally meet the man of my dreams and next thing I know he's on a plane to Brazil.
Pete Martell: He'll be back one day. He promised.
Audrey Horne: Yeah. Well, he also promised to take me fishing, and we never did. Love stinks.
Pete Martell: Fishing?
Audrey Horne: Yeah. Pearl Lake or something.
Pete Martell: [pause] I have some tackle in the truck.
Audrey Horne: You do?
Pete Martell: Audrey, there are many cures for a broken heart, but nothing quite like a trout's leap in the moonlight. May I?
Audrey Horne: [she laughs] You may.
[they walk back to the truck, arm in arm]

Bigfoot Disappointment

When I saw this for the first I thought it was perfect; only now, at its sixth or seventh viewing, I start to understand Lynch was really running out of inspiration with this one... it's just no longer interesting. So disappointing.
