"The Gardener's Son" was exciting and captivating for Graniteville Children.

I to am looking for a copy of this program. I remember watching it in Elementary school in the 1980's. I am from Graniteville and it brought the story of William Gregg to life for me as a child. As an adult i am looking for a history i can teach my own child and this program would help me do that. There is one part i remember in detail. The part where William Gregg catches a couple of boys skipping school and instead they are fishing. He makes them return to the school which he himself founded because to him education was important. As a native of the town of Graniteville it's sad that so much of our history is gone. I hope to be able to preserve every little piece that I can. PBS did an excellent job on this program years ago. If anyone can find a way to get a copy of this program please let me know.
