How to win the lottery and lose friends
2 July 2016 | by kevinolzakSee all my reviews

"Brother, Can You Spare a Million?" sees Barbarino in the hospital getting his tonsils out, with an early appearance from gorgeous Robin Riker (future star of the 1980 cult movie "Alligator") as the sexy nurse who keeps him in line by treating him like a baby. All four Sweathogs have been pitching in a quarter apiece for a weekly lottery ticket for two years running, with Kotter putting in his 25 cents worth in Vinnie's absence. Horshack breathlessly announces that the Sweathogs have won $1000 in this week's lottery, with a shot at a cool million, Barbarino ecstatic, Gabe despondent. Since Vinnie abdicated on the winning ticket, Julie wants her husband to make Barbarino come clean on moral and legal grounds but greed is a bitch (he finally gets a shot at his makeup test in the following episode). Juan's new girlfriend Wendy is played by Wendy Rastatter, showing the boys how to burp a baby (she never appeared again).
