I don't know many episodes from Desilu Playhouse. This one is pretty well done, like a classic film noir, in a topic where I would have seen Edmond O'Brien in the lead character. See for yourself. The story of an ordinary man, a plumber - Eddie Albert - who is contacted by a company to do some work for them. But it appears that this is the mafia he has to deal with. They first blackmail our guy, about the fact that he doesn't live in the US under his real name. And then they threaten him, telling his wife has been kidnapped. They want him to kill a man. A poor man he doesn't know.
