- The night of the Aquaman premiere draws close and the crew is preparing themselves for the biggest event of Vince's (Adrian Grenier) career. Drama (Kevin Dillon) and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) keep finding better looking women to bring to the event, but they find themselves prematurely running out of passes to hand out to the good looking girls.
Ari tells Vince to be classy and bring a suitable date for his premiere.
Vince is less concerned about finding a date. He knows there's only one woman to bring -- his mom. Mrs. Chase (Mercedes Ruehl) is hesitant to make the trip to the West Coast due to a fear of travelling. She has never been out of New York for 30 years.
Vince gets on live radio & gives a call to her & begs her to come on in to LA. He says she never came for his first movie or when he bought the house, Aquaman is the biggest movie of his career and he wants he wants his mom by his side as he walks the red carpet. He will send a plane or a boat and do whatever he needs to do to make it happen. She agrees on radio, but backs out later as she simply cant get on the plane.
Meanwhile Vince has been shopping all over town to get his mum a pretty dress, shoes, and jewelry. E (Kevin Connolly) finally convinces Mrs Chase to travel with both his and Turtle's mothers.
Drama a Turtle score 2 hot dates at the radio show and need 2 more tickets to invite them. They have already given away their quota of 50 tickets to random good looking girls. E calls Ari, who asks Lloyd to issue 2 tickets from Mr Jimmy Woods quota to Drama and Turtle.
Woods finds out and storms Ari's office to get his tickets back. Lloyd calls Drama and Turtle for the tickets, but they claim that they have given them away.
Jimmy shows up at Alba's Malibu beach house (where Vince and his entourage are staying) to get his tickets back. Drama hands over 2 envelopes to Jimmy, but there are no tickets in them (which Jimmy doesn't notice)
Eventually the extra tickets go to the 2 extra mothers and Drama and Turtle's plans of scoring with the hot chicks is a non-starter.
Meanwhile, Ari (Jeremy Piven) adjusts to life in his new office (complete with broken down elevator) and finds that he's in for a huge challenge on his own. His $25,000 charity check to his daughter's school bounces. Ari has to beg his wife for a $100,000 from her personal savings to tide him over till the time Vince's Aquaman opens. He has staff to pay and rent to cover as well. Mrs Gold (Perrey Reeves) says that she has dipped into her savings 5 times already to keep Ari afloat.
The premiere goes well for everybody concerned, and none more so than Ari, whose whole future is stacked on the success of Aquaman. Mrs Gold believes in Ari's vision that Vince is going to be a huge star.
