Big Boy was discovered by an American sergeant in the Trenches in the Great War. Now he's a war orphan and the sergeant's old chaplain urges a war profiteer to adopt him. He does, but his housekeeper dresses Big Boy in a dress. Big boy resents this, and there is much havoc wreaked in this short comedy.
Although Big Boy still only has two comedy bits -- a big smile and trying to spit, but drooling -- he was a very engaging performer. This short subject, which seems to not think it worth mentioning that it's nine years since the Armistice, is decently run, with some well executed falls by the adults.
