Storyline

Benson and Governor Gatling have become political opponents for the Governor's seat. Benson ran because Gatling was going to step down. Then Gatling changed his mind but Benson had already submitted his name. This creates a dark cloud over their friendship. It comes out very strongly on the campaign trail as well.
