Trivia

A Message From Rockstar - To the left of the Hyman Stadium entrance is a small platform (it's a unique stunt jump) with a tourist sign about the stadium. If you have a camera or sniper rifle in your arsenal, take it out and look at the sign. At the bottom of this sign, in small text, is a message to the player. In the PlayStation Portable version the sign reads: "You are standing on USJ 005a, a fine new addition to our great city that isn't contrived at all. Have you found the 10 easter eggs? Rockstar Leeds would like to thank you for playing the game and letting us have a rockin' christmas party." In the PlayStation 2 version the sign reads: "You are standing on USJ 005a, a fine new addition to our great city that we've all grown to love. Have you found the 11 easter eggs? Rockstar Leeds would like to thank you for playing the game, and by the way, the christmas party was great." See more »

Goofs

VCPD officers carry a Beretta 92 handgun as their sidearm, which is strange because the Beretta 92 was only issued to U.S Armed Forces in the 1980s (Marines, Air Force, Army). It would make more sense if this gun was only carried by the soldiers at Fort Baxter not the police. See more »

Quotes

Armando Mendez: So, you are finished.
Vic Vance: Yeah.
Armando Mendez: Diego, they are finished.
Diego Mendez: Buenos.
Armando Mendez: And none of us dead. The civilized life of gentlemen. We have our money, so you are free. You must leave town, of course, and give us control of your other interests.
Vic Vance: What?
Armando Mendez: But you, your families, no one will die. This is fair.
Lance Vance: Fair? Oh, yeah, if you think getting screwed in the ass and then paying for it is fair, then it sounds like a great deal.
Armando Mendez: I find your attitude and your language terribly distasteful.
Diego Mendez: Maricon...

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories is the 3rd best game in the series. Anyone reading this will surely detest but I can't see why. What's wrong with this one, am I missing something or what? As far as the earlier GTA games go this is one of the best. I'd take it over GTA IV any day. At least you can fly planes in this one unlike GTA 4! The dialog is OK and the missions in this one are pretty interesting more than fun. It has a great story and introduces us to old friends like Phil Cassidy from the original "Vice City". The cars in this are basic, Vice City hasn't changed much but I'd rather this than a huge metropolis with nothing to do in it. The game isn't dull like GTA 4 and just seems like a great GTA environment. The main playable character Victor Vance is not that good and they turned Lance Vance, a main character from the previous Vice City, into a jerk. But besides that this game is fun to play and I'd take it over GTA 4 with fine pleasure...
