Amusing little webisodes
This collection of short films were released a few months before The Office return for Season 3 in the US. They were screened separately and can still be seen on the NBC website but it is best to watch them back-to-back because I don't think they are strong enough to stand up as individual 2 minute episodes. The focus is of course on the accountants as they try to figure out who "took" money that they cannot account for on the books by looking into specific suspects. Despite the low quality of the footage (compared to the TV show) these are actually pretty amusing and they follow up on what season 2 did – make better use of the supporting characters.
We don't really have any of the "main" characters here but you don't miss them because those in it are funny without Pam, Michael or Dwayne – something that the show used to make it better in seasons 2 and 3 (which is as far as I've seen now). Those describing The Accountants as "hilarious" are probably overstating it though but each 2-minute bite will have at least one or two moments in them that made me laugh, which is a pretty good return and made for an amusing 15 or so minutes. Worth a look for fans.
