Storyline

When Benny Green kicks his football across the path of Mr. Mitchell's car, the teacher tells him off for being careless. Relenting a little, Mr. Mitchell asks if Benny will be trying for the team, but Benny tells him he has no football boots. In P.E, Mr. Foster makes it clear the correct gear must be worn, but Benny's still trying to find the right place - after embarrassingly getting undressed in what turns out to be the girls changing room, he does find the gym. Mr. Foster explains his lack of a sports top prohibits him from taking part, and sends him back to get changed. Tucker helps Benny find the right gear for the football trials - but the boots are the real trouble - Alan's are way too big. At registration, Ann has the only viable suggestion - her hockey boots could be handed over after hockey trials. Tucker and Benny use the same pair of boots to hide Benny's lack of them from Mr. Foster, as Ann's haven't arrived yet. After Mr. Foster has gone, Tucker finds Ann and collects ...
