Sisters Annie Bell (KaDee Strickland), Jane Bell (Teri Polo) and Sammy Bell (Sarah Jones) inherited "The Wedding Palace" from their parents. Annie is the reluctant boss with a troubled connection to womanizing photographer David Conlon (Michael Landes). Sammy is the youngest, a flirt, and the sexual target of everyman. Jane is married to Russell Hawkins (Benjamin King), the company's responsible finance guy. The marriage is in trouble. Ralph Snow (Chris Williams) is the singer who dreams of being more than a wedding singer. Debbie (Sherri Shepherd) is the managing assistant. Ernesto (Costas Mandylor) is the sexy exotic chef. Amanda Pontell (Missi Pyle) is the bridezilla in the pilot who becomes involved with the business.
This is a failed show from David E. Kelley and Jason Katims. It's intermittently fun but that's not enough. I don't hate any of these characters but I don't love anybody either. It's a middling show. It was quickly canceled after airing five episodes. The quick hook is not necessarily undeserved. I don't see it getting any better.
