Miley Cyrus has had quite the year. The release of her new album "Bangerz" catapulted her into an entirely new persona that seems like it's straight out of a meme, and all before she turned 21-years-old.
With her big birthday on Nov. 23 and her crying cat-filled American Music Awards performance on Nov. 24, there seemed like no better time to take a look back at the many, many bizarre live performances Cyrus has given in 2013. Which was the one that shocked you the most?
"We Can't Stop" medley at MTV VMAs
"We Can't Stop" at iHeartRadio Music Festival
"We Can't Stop" on "Schlag den Raab"
"We Can't Stop" at MTV EMAs
"Wrecking Ball" at American Music Awards

She can't stop ... bringing the controversy.
After her buzzy MTV Vma's performance with Robin Thicke, and Monday's (Sept. 9) release of her Nsfw "Wrecking Ball" video, Miley Cyrus is at it again thanks to a performance she gave over the weekend.
Cyrus appeared on the German TV show "Schlag den Raab" to perform her hit single "We Can't Stop" ... with a band full of little people.
And before you ask, yes ... there was twerking. Lots of it. But this time, Cyrus refrained from her booty-poppin' dance move, instead opting for her backup dancer to show it off while Cyrus spanked her.
We have to wonder: now that Cyrus has gone fully-nude, is she struggling for new gimmicks to use during performances to get people talking? Or did she truly envision performing "We Can't Stop" with a band full of little people from the get-go?

Taking an entirely different approach than her controversial Vma performance, Miley Cyrus sang "We Can't Stop" on the German TV show, "Shlagg Den Raab."
This time around, the "Hannah Montana" star enlisted the help of a backing band of little people, dwarfing them on stage as the most risqué she got was slapping the backside of her diminutive dancer.
Posting a backstage photo of herself posing with her pint-sized backup posse, the 20-year-old songstress tweeted, "Mc & The Boos."
Check out the video below, in which Miley belts out her hit with the support of the band of little people while one lonely teddy bear sits innocently in the background.

Between Miley Cyrus’ bizarre “We Can’t Stop” video and raunchy Vma performance, the most shocking thing might be to see her stand onstage fully clothed and just sing a song.
But this is Miley we’re talking about! The latest stop on her provoca-tour was the German TV show Schlag den Raab, where she performed her Rihanna-lite single backed by a band made up entirely of little people. Is this all part of the next Jackass movie or something?
Take a look at the video below (our favorite part of the intro is when the first non-German words are...

CANNES -- Jim Paratore's ParaMedia has picked up U.S. format rights to hit German game show Beat Your Host! from ProSiebenSat.1 sales arm SevenOne International.
ParaMedia will produce a U.S. version of the show together with Warner Horizon Television, Warner Bros. Television Group's primetime reality programming arm.
The deal, announced Wednesday at MIPTV, follows ABC's recent pickup of Germany's No. 1 entertainment format, Wanna Bet?
Beat Your Host features a contestant going up against a VIP host in a series of competitions ranging from pole vaulting and Ping Pong to who can best spread soft cheese on a sandwich. If the contestant wins, they take home a cash prize. If they lose, the money goes into a pot for the next show's contestant.
Beat Your Host, produced by Raab TV and Brainpool in Germany, had the most successful debut for an entertainment format in the last three years in the territory, grabbing an audience share of up to 30% in the key 14-49 demographic for commercial channel ProSieben.
