Storyline

Danny Kendall throws his diary in the pond, but Mr. Bronson fishes it out later. A bottle day is announced, collecting glass to sell to the council. Vince and Hollo think this might be a good way of earning money for themselves. Danny's father comes to school to discuss things with Mrs. McClusky - but it turns out Danny's problem is an illness for which he is on medication. Roland eavesdrops the conversation, and then spreads the word to the other 6th formers who propose to start raising money. Steven gets involved in some role-play, but can't get the bad situation between himself, Jackie and Zammo out of his head. Roland goes around the local shops trying to get someone to donate some radio spare parts and cable. He manages to get a local shop to donate some cable, and instructs Ziggy and Robbie to go and fetch the cable, which is on a small reel - however, they take a huge reel instead. Meanwhile, Vince and Hollo are out and about looking for empty bottles. A milk float seems very ... Written by Geffers
