In the presence of two of his staff, Cedric Brackett shoots his uncle Sir Charles twice, The Police later arrive only to discover that the body has vanished. Without a body The Police struggle to make a case, until it is later found......in Wales.
It's a very quirky episode, featuring a slightly more complex, cerebral story than is usually the case, how on Earth did that body end up in Wales, it's a really interesting storyline.
It makes a nice change seeing Sergeant Cork given the runaround, Brackett is a clever guy, and seems to delight in taunting The Police, who struggle to put a strong case against him.
Great seeing Charles Morgan back in his homeland, clearly inspired by all of that Welsh passion, it's the most animated we've seen him for some time.
Some of the acting was decent, some of it sadly was a little below par. The standout performance definitely came from John Standing, who, as always was excellent.
A little more complicated, that's a good thing.
8/10.
