I think it was clear by this point that in an attempt to try to win back viewers Aaron Sorkin began tinkering with the format of the show.
So we do sort of end up in romantic comedy territory, with Jordan being pursued by Danny, Tom pursuing Lucy and the ongoing Matt and Harriet drama.
It makes for a fun episode though, full of humour and some lovely exchanges in terms of dialogue.
In actual fact my favourite story in this episode didn't involve any of the characters previously mentioned, and instead was the one focusing on Jack, played brilliantly by Steven Weber.
The show is changing, the high quality is not.
