Storyline

Monk and Stotllemeyer are investigating the death of a woman. But suddenly another murder occurs wherein the person was killed in an unusual manner. And a note is left on the body saying that there will be more in about 30 hours. A special unit shows up to take charge of the case and they tell them that nothing else matters even the woman whose murder they were investigating. Monk thinks the time on the note is strange. And they appear to be chasing their tails. Monk thinks something else is going on but the man in charge of the unit doesn't think so. Written by rcs0411@yahoo.com

Trivia

The song Disher is singing while undercover is "Don't Need a Badge", the song he wrote in and performed in Monk: Mr. Monk Goes to the Dentist (2006), in which Disher "quits" the force, creates a rock band, and Captain Stottlemeier must convince him to retract his resignation. See more »

Goofs

When Monk is morgue and he is looking at Jean Garnett's body the plastic cover is seen to be covering everything except her head and neck, but in a couple of later scenes it's first seen to be a little under her breast level and then a little under her shoulders. See more »

Quotes

Captain Leland Stottlemeyer: [as they watch Randy play "I Don't Need a Badge" as a one-man band] There's a flaw in your plan.
Agent Thorpe: What's that?
Captain Leland Stottlemeyer: Well, the first person that attacks him
[Randy]
Captain Leland Stottlemeyer: may not necessarily be your serial killer. It may be me.

Hate this episode, the whole decoy of goon FBI agents show up , dumb as hell , also they have this cliche all powerful devices technology, ok first of all Monk Season 1 and 2 were not that cringe at all, you need good dialog that is it , not overdone goof acting.
