Tony's luck seems to have run and he is losing pretty well every bet he makes. He's lost heavily at the casino, the track and on football. The more he loses however, the more he bets to try and recoup his losses. It all leads to a major battle at home with Carmella who has a bit of cash thanks to closing the deal on her house. When Hesh mentions the $200,000 he lent Tony some time ago, Tony is insulted and insists on paying him the weekly vig. Meanwhile, Vito's widow Marie comes to Tony for help with her son Vito Jr. The boy has become a goth and is highly resistant to authority. She wants $100,000 from Tony so they can move away and re-establish themselves in a new community. He promises help but is upset that Marie's cousin and the man who killed Vito, Phil Leotardo, has refused to help her out. With his current money situation, there's not a lot Tony can do money-wise but after Vito's latest rebellious act at school he tells Marie there is only one solution.
