Grissom continues to investigate Dell's thirteen foster kid, and finds that one of them died two years ago. When Cap. Brass calls him to go to the apartment of Trevor Dell, they find him dead in his bathroom and a miniature of him. However, there is no model of the crime scene. However the miniature is enough to identify the DNA of the killer, who was careless this time. Wendy is not able to identify the killer, but she tells that is a woman. When Grissom brings Trevor's bracelet to the owner of a hobby shop owned by craftsman Art Schuster, the man recognizes the piece and that his client Natalie bought it. Now the LVPD and the CSI have a lead to be followed. Meanwhile, Grissom receives a package with a miniature of a car accident in the desert and the victim is Sara Sidle.
