Storyline

Season 16, episode 70. Mother Ines tells perplex Merle and Gunter that she changed her mind and wants to take them Kaspar away to her home. The detective calls Gunter to inform him that Ines has lost her job because of cocaine use. Torben states that there is no proof of drug addiction so it is highly likely that Ines will get Kaspar. Merle asks Ines directly and gets the answer that a competing colleague spread that rumor intentionally. Werner, agent of the youth protection agency, informs Merle and Gunter in person that Kaspar will be more often with Ines until he is fully acclimatized in his new environment. Amelie probes how far the rich Texans would go in the height of the prices for the two paintings. Christian points out to her that that the sale permit is not even sure. But she makes a provisional deal with the two spouses from Texas and toasts with Gregor on this success for her hotel project.
