A touching film beautifully made.

Jwlwi - The Seed is the creation of Rajni Basumatary who also produced, directed and acted in it. In brief, it is a touching story of a mother's love and struggles during the insurgency in the northern state if India, Assam. It gives you a glimpse into what life was like then with the simplicity, colors, hardships and joys of regular country folk. The movie is well edited as it moves at a steady pace and does not leave your mind wondering. All the characters are well portrayed, especially Rajni's portrayal as a simple country woman whose love for her son will tug at your heart.
