A skeptical female clinical psychologist joins a priest-in-training and a blue-collar contractor as they investigate supposed miracles, demonic possession, and other extraordinary occurrences to see if there's a scientific explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work.
This three-part, self-contained limited series is about the newest member of the Midnight Society, her first scary tale, and what happens to the group when the terrifying events of her story start to actually happen in their small town.
I am definitely not part of this show's demographic, but that doesn't excuse the horrible acting and writing of the show. It's a paint by numbers plot and I find myself questioning once again exactly how many good writers there actually are in the entertainment business.
This show simply validates my decision to quit the CW altogether once Supernatural ends this season, as all the rest of their shows are puerile and extremely poorly written.
If you are over 15 I would suggest giving this a miss, and even if you aren't over 15, I doubt this will interest you.
