  Narrator : A crime of violence is always a shock. It is like the sudden onslaught of a hurricane or a tornado. One moment all is peaceful and quiet, and then suddenly, nothing is as it was before. But before every violent moment of nature, there is period of unusual quiet and peace - the lull before the storm. The very nature of a sudden crime of violence makes the police work difficult. There is no real warning, no way of preventing it. It strikes like the violence of nature. Such a crime occurred on the eighteenth of September.
