Storyline

On a honeymoon camping trip, newlyweds David and Mimi Karney are seriously injured in a fall from a cliff. David has a broken hip and is unable to move. Mimi is ambulatory but is amnesiac and uncommunicative due to a head injury. Sergeant Walters finds her wandering on a nearby road and takes her to a first aid station. Dan Mathews' attempts to question her are unsuccessful, though he learns her identity from an inscription in her wedding ring. Dan organizes a search party when he deduces that Mimi's husband was with her in the rough terrain and that he is probably seriously injured. When the search party is unsuccessful, Dan takes the still-uncommunicative Mimi back to the campsite, hoping that she can provide a clue to the weakening David's whereabouts. Written by Sam Spear
