Storyline

Walt and Jesse manage to get their RV - the mobile meth lab - pulled out of the ditch but face another problem when they realize that Krazy-8, one of their attackers, is still breathing. They face grim choices and losing the coin toss, Walt is the one who has to get rid of him while Jesse will have to get rid of the dead Emilio's body. Walt's wife Skyler is puzzled by her husband's strange behavior and begins snooping, starting with his laptop. Demanding to know what is going on, Walt tells her her Jesse sells him marijuana. She confronts Jesse - just as he is removing Emilio's body from the RV. The day gets worse when Jesse ignores Walt's very specific instructions on how to get rid of the body. Written by garykmcd

Goofs

When Jesse bungles Walter White's instructions on how to dissolve a drug dealer's corpse in a bathtub, the entire body is dissolved and the acid eats through the tub. The team from MythBusters tested the science of this scene and found that, while the chemicals and applications used in the episode did cause some dissolving (they used a pig carcass in the test), it would not be able to dissolve an entire human body nor destroy the bathtub and floorboards. Just as amazing as the Pilot
9 December 2010 | by Red_IdentitySee all my reviews

I am a huge fan of AMC. I consider Mad Men to be the best show airing on TV, and The Walking Dead and Rubicon from this year were also very impressive. I decided to catch a glimpse of the Pilot for Breaking Bad, since it is so far the only show I had never watched.

The Pilot was an amazing hour of television. It had subtle and effective writing, introduced characters, and had an amazing performance by Bryan Cranston. I know he has won the Emmy three times in a row, so I was glad I was able finally able to watch him in this show. Absolutely amazing! His facial expressions, the change in his actions and character throughout the Pilot was perfectly portrayed. He has created an absolutely interesting and emerging character, and whenever he on screen one is determined not to look away.

Seeing as how this was the first episode, I cannot start raving about the entire show, but the Pilot and the second episode were both amazing, and dare I say it, perhaps had the strongest Pilot from any AMC show.
