Sex & Nudity

  • The lead female character is seen to be wearing only a shirt. Although not sexual.
  • An officer doing a house inspection walks in on a man and woman having an affair. We see nothing sexual; the officer only sees the man dive under the bed (clad in a shirt and boxers), then opens the closet to reveal the woman hiding, wrapped up in a blanket (thus implied to be naked). The officer starts yelling at the pair and is disgusted that the man is cheating on his wife. The man's excuse is that he was 'lonely'.

Violence & Gore

  • Gun fights, stabbings, fist fights
  • Mostly non-violent but some episodes feature significant hand-to-hand combat and a couple of scenes of bloody shootings. One major gunfight. One minor knife slashing. A gangfight including knives and axes.

Profanity

  • Mild coarse language (subtitles) like "bitch," and "shit" respectively.
  • Ons use of "motherfucker" in the English subtitles.
  • Endgame use of Ms throughout, dismissing unmarried/married demarcations.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Characters are seen drinking and or getting drunk in multiple episodes.
  • Drinking and falling-down drunk is portrayed throughout the series.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • Characters are implied to be beaten as a means of punishment, often shown bleeding and bruised but the actual on screen portion of the beatings are usually mild, and everything usually happens off screen.
  • A main character is shot in the shoulder, the other character shot in the leg. We see some blood as one character passes out, shooting the gunman dead. This may be intense for some viewers.
