Sergeant, where is my car? Go find my car

Warning: Spoilers
A solid episode with some exceptional acting by guest actors telling the story of murder based on greed brought on by the false need for fast money to fix the original avarice purchasing a home exceeding income. Why get an adjustable rate mortgage after selling a condo for one-third the cost of the new home?

Taking the company's money to fund the new home remodel was one crime. The more serious crime was killing the person discovering the theft. Complicating things was the victim happened to be a Federal employee, prompting the FBI to get deeply involved when the government cell phone and laptop of the Homeland Security auditor are missing after the murder.

The extra touch is Pope having an affair with the same auditor behind her husband's back, Brenda recovering from surgery and contacting poison oak while at the murder scene. This time the added dimensions made for a delightful story to be told and Chief Johnson catching the perpetrator.

A unique and believable manner capturing the data necessary to pinpoint the suspects, because the cell and laptop went missing, government issued and encrypted; no tracing in the standard manner. The M.E. said likely it was murder when the residual wood fragment left in the skull with the rock to the head were found; the crash did not kill the victim, seat belt worn prevented that. Pepper spray from the perpetrator used on the victim was amateurish, but brought Brenda to her and the arrest.

A definite thumbs up for the acting and the story.
