Sex & Nudity

  • Minor to mild references. An episode deals with nudists and you can see bare butts. In a couple of episodes, ample bosoms are shown briefly because the women are wearing low cut blouses. Male topless nudity in multiple episodes.

Violence & Gore

  • The "mild" rating here is very misleading. Nearly every episode contains at least one murder. Usually the corpses are seen in full detail. There are shots of people with slit throats, stab wounds, bullet wounds, and even missing heads. All of this is usually shown onscreen. It's rare that they shown people actually being murdered in graphic manner, but it happens occasionally.
  • Virtually every episode has at least one murder. A man's head is decapitated but not onscreen.

  • Several uses of "bloody hell", and "bollocks". Overall, very little use of potentially offensive language and no religious profanities.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A character drinks onscreen alot. we also see in flashbacks a person drunk.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some episodes are very psychological and can be very scary. A episode deals with one of the main character's being hanged.
