Worst movie.
bagi-7762424 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I was not expecting such movie from Ajay Devgan production. Never expected direction from Renuka for such dialogues. Though the skit was good, they messed everything in the movie. Movie makers might be thinking that after using modern words, their movie will be considered as a Hollywood piece. But we Indian, still love Indian movie. So Ajay bhai, kajol bhabhi and Renuka Tai, 'It is a Bad movie'

Abusive with lots of cuss words
vishlashakkapoor18 January 2021
This could have been an excellent family drama but you can't watch due to excessive usage of cuss words & over-acting by Kajol. Can't bear even 15 minutes of it. Terrible acting by Kajol.

Master-piece
rupeshvirajhealth15 January 2021
This is a real master piece by Kajol. It's relate to everyone's lives and it reminds us and reflects upon a important quote from Joy Browne 'Adulthood was invented to repair the wounds of childhood" - I think those people expecting melodrama and some unreal and some heroic stuff will not be able to understand the substance and depth in this 95 mins class act by kajol and team! A reality of life which has been portrayed beautifully and realistically by none other than kajol!!

Yawn! The same story has been done so many times. Nothing original about this and I found it a waste of time.

My Hopes got Shattered!
SoumikBanerjee2515 January 2021
Netflix's brand-new incentive "Tribhanga" commits all its exertions to exhibit a ruptured relationship between a Mother & a Daughter and their conclusive reconciliation. But due to the leaden Screenplay & an ineffectual Writing; the narrative falls short in establishing prominence!

Seeing such a commanding starcast, it got me habitually excited. For me, there's nothing better than a well executed Drama; especially which deals in Family Values & Quintessential Accords. And believe me, this had every fundamental constituent to make something akin to my liking. Yet the whole shebang collapsed!

Reason? most of the calls they made regarding its narration. With the gleeful exception of its technical showing! The emotions never really flourished. Dialogues doesn't always land; incorporating profanity without any proper reason. There were endless opportunities to mold ensembled characters in a way, that we as audience can make empathetic connections. Unfortunately the writer had other ideas. Renuka Shahane, who's also the director here; failed to take advantage of a promising premise and a set of incredible talents in her helm.

Kajol, Tanvi Azmi, Mithila Palkar. They don't need any introduction, nor there is any skepticism regarding their capabilities as actors. Yet, sorry to say; everyone's performances here are strictly average. And guess what!? It's not even their fault! They shine only momentarily at times, therefore not been able to leave a lasting impression.

Very nice unconventional family drama movie!!
atulyadav-7684016 January 2021
People who are wise plus understand human emotions, relationships, flaws of human psychology will enjoy this movie. It is not a typical Bollywood or marathi movie it fits into categoryof modern art/classical movie. It is very well written and directed as well as having kajol in the movie makes it special. Congratulations to Renuka shahane for writing such a nice story. People who are giving negative reviews should keep watching bollywood garbage movies because it's beyond their intellectual level. Before, I had watched Kapoor and sons, aankho dekhi, this movie will join that group of great family drama movies.

It only hatred
sameerlodaya16 January 2021
The movie narrated only hatred between mother and daughters

Kajol overacted and kept on abusing of low levels for no reasons

The story could had delivered a good moral if it's was made in a soft simple and emotional way but Renuka ruined it

How can one get entertained with such hateful story and cheap bad words

Acting and direction is good. But it's more of check list of feminism than a proper story. Abusive Kajol is bothering.

Utter garbage
kingofatlantisaquaman20 January 2021
Film criticizes positive lifestyle and family values. Portrays them as regressive and conservative. Children must stay away from such movies which glorifies negative and substandard values and lifestyle.

A failed attempt of trying to depict the role of strong women in society
howrah_l8 March 2021
Character build up was simply unsatisfactory 1) Kajol's character was quite demeaning to those around her, I'm sure there are a million other ways to represent what the character stands for without giving her a "holier than thou" flare...

2) Mithila and Tanvi did a fair enough job in embracing their character... but nothing too exclusive...

3) Women empowerment being a great subject to talk about has immense potential, but the performance and characters just failed to send across the message they were trying to convey...

At the end it simply revolves around a fully grown woman trying to act cool by abusing and rebelling against society... and her timid daughter in her very own way tried to rebel against her mother by subjecting herself to a misogynistic society... simply for acceptance... These are not the portals of what I believe makes a strong women... just my opinion...

Simply abusing, rebelling and snapping people around does not make you strong...

terrible acting by Kajol, decent story
fandomunicorns16 February 2021
It could have been a great movie but the acting and direction was weak. they touched such serious topics but was not dealt with as well. But still at least its a start of this type of movies on web. There was No need for the foul language to make it look cool. so tired of what false projection on women swearing and drinking on netflix movies now.

Simple, Dramatic and emotional experience
niraj-bais00715 January 2021
Lot of ups and down shown in very realistic way. Kajol performance is amazing and narration of whole journey is bit fantastic. Strained relations are perfectly shown with simple gestures.

Believable storyline
naureenali-3313417 January 2021
This was a good watch. It is not flashy or a lengthy production, thank goodness! Kajol delivers her role without being too fimly; the other cast performs well also. The only drawback is Kajol chanting the "F" word as if it is second to breathing. It is too much and really unnecessary. Families with kids or elder folks may not be comfortable with the over redundant use of the foul word. Why do Bollywood writers think it is necessary to have their characters utter foul language so much and so often in their scripts? Does it validate something for them, or do they think its cool and more relatable to people? It is not cool, and definitely not needed!
