Goofs

Colin and his boss, Mr Hart, go on a business trip to New York in July. New York in July is sweltering, with an average high of 29 degrees and an average low (at nighttime) of 20 degrees, but both of them are wearing winter coats, as are most of the people seen on the streets there. See more »

Such a powerful second episode.

This picks up where episode one left off, only the humour and is toned down somewhat, and those clouds that I'd mentioned earlier are moving in a little closer, so close in fact now that one of the group, Gloria, falls ill. It's still humorous, only the balance is switching to the more serious side.

Nice that we get to see more of Roscoe, he's thus far been the least developed main character, he is so interesting, and fabulous.

It's a very different episode, it brings out very different thoughts and emotions. It must have been absolutely terrifying for gay men at this time, let's not forget that being gay in 1980 wasn't like it is now, still a taboo subject. It's the early days for aids, and with no social media, it was tough for people to get information.

Callum Scott Howells who plays Colin is the one stealing the show for me. In All fairness though, the whole cast are magnificent, nice to see Keeley Hawes play a small role, a favourite of mine, so often the leading lady, brilliant.

Love it, 9/10.
