- While it is rated E. This paper mario game is much darker than the previous ones.
- Super Dimentio's design might be frightening to young children
- A river is shown with skeleton hands and creepy audio.
- Count Bleck opens a black hole portal in attempt to erase the worlds Paper Mario is trying to save which may be a little scary for little kids.

Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Count Black and Timpani sacrifice themselves to save Mario and his friends from the black hole portal. This is very sad and upsetting to see. Especially when Count Black redeemed himself.
- One of the antagonists, Mimi, turns into a spider in 2 parts of the game. This can be frightening to pretty much anyone, probably because it's rather graphic for a mario game, and quite unexpected.
