Shot only on weekends and on an always changing set which was not only a set but also an apartment, "Kolaskos" changed it's look one minute at a time and used weeks of post production to correct all the discrepancies born into the final material. Between the shoots of Marc and Kolaskos for instance, in the scene when Marc suddenly appears in his living room facing his waiting opponent after walking the street with Liz, one year went by and the crew was unable to rebuild the used light setting. They even changed their basic plans of color and play of shadows. So all the frames showing Kolaskos are more stylish and seem to be more exactly worked out than the those that show Marc.
Due to the fact that Nils was unavailable for second shooting of the scene in the fall of 2003, Erik Wiesbaum had to play to a double but there were nobody to place right in front of him who had nothing else to do. So the filmmakers decided to use a video cover of Oliver Stone's picture "The Doors" showing Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison on its front because that picture had a gloss in the actor's eyes and mad it possible to play at.
