- Tim "Titan" Teslow, carrying a pair of machetes, walks into the Burnley train station bound for Gotham. People run from the man as he boards a train. One man doesn't notice, the newcomer decapitates him. Jacob runs in and confronts the killer, Teslow, to drop the machetes. Teslow jams a machete into a fuse box and then attacks. He disarms Jacob and then walks away. Kate arrives and grabs Jacob's gun, and attacks Teslow with it. Jacob leaps on Teslow, but Teslow throws them both off and leaves after the train comes to a stop.
Kate helps Jacob up, and he complains that she came in after he told he4r to stay in the car. She asks who Teslow is, and Jacob says that he has no idea.
Soon Vesper on the radio, identifying Teslow and noting that he escaped from Arkham. Teslow was a football phenomenon, and she hopes Batwoman can take Teslow down when Jacob failed.
In the sewers, Mouse shows Alice an app that the Crows have distributes. Alice interested, and Mouse insists that the two of them have to get out of Gotham. Alice is studying the journal, and bats fly by. Alice wonders why they're there, and Mouse says that bats eat rats and they're rats, hiding in the sewers. He points out that they agreed to leave Gotham and start anew, and Alice tells him that she can't leave while her old life still haunts her. She tells him to be patient until she finds out where the rock Lucius mentioned is.
Hush storms in and says that the distorted human face mask she gave him isn't a mask. Alice asks what the problem is, and Hush tells her that she knows how to kill Batwoman because of him, and wants a proper face. When he draws his guns on Alice, Mouse points out that if Hush kills Alice, it still won't get him his face. Alice tells Hush that she'll get him a face, and tells Mouse that she'll have to go to the university morgue to get proper materials. When Mouse objects, Hush jumps in front of him.
At the tower, Luke shows Kate the only shard of Kryptonite, and explains that Bruce was holding onto it for a "friend". He says that it was in a puddle in the Batcave, and that once he figures out how to destroy t Batwoman invincible. Kate hesitates and then tells him to go to town. As Luke leaves, Mary comes in and Luke tells her that he's going off to destroy a stone.
Mary tells Kate that Teslow was the Gotham Goliath's best tight-end and really good, and was brutal. She knows that he took steroids and it all came to a game against the Cougars. When a call went against Teslow, he broke the official's neck. Mary knows about Teslow since his brother Apollo dated a society woman, Selu Corova. Apollo is the Goliaths' running back, and Kate figures she should talk to Apollo about his brother. Mary notes that Jacob said it would be war on Batwoman if he saw her again. Kate figures that there's a way to get around Jacob and she knows it as his daughter, and figures that if she stops Titan, it will convince Jacob that Batwoman is a hero. Mary warns that Jacob will never see a vigilante as a hero, but Kate figures it will if he also learns the vigilante is hid daughter. She hopes that one day she can come clean with him about who Batwoman really is.
Alice goes to the university and meets with Professor Darby, a geologist. Darby recognizes Alice, and she explains that she's looking for Kryptonite. He doesn't recognize the name, and Alice says that his name was written by the name of the rock. When she says that it can cut through anything, Darby says that he did analyze a meteor rock with similar properties. He sent it back to its owner, Lucius, and Darby tells Alice to talk to the people at Wayne Enterprises. Alice figures that no one can know she was there, and beats Darby to death with a rock.
Luke examines the Kryptonite piece while Mary paces nervously and worries that Jacob might hurt Batwoman. Unimpressed, Luke says that the Batwoman suit is bulletproof. Luke isn't able to damage the Kryptonite.
Apollo is running up the stairs in the Gotham stadium. Bat6woman approaches Apollo and asks if he's helping Titan, and Apollo says that he's the one who got Titan sent to Arkham. He talks about how Titan wanted to win at any cost, and took multiple hits to the head. However, Titan still walked kids to the bus stop, and the game turned him into a monster. Batwoman asks Apollo to help her get Titan the help he needs by telling her where he is.
Titan comes out yelling for Apollo, and accuses his brother of betraying him. Batwoman tells Apollo to run and throws a Batarang into Titan's shoulder. He shrugs it off and cuts her grappling gun in half. The two fight and Titan throws one of his machetes, knocking Apollo unconscious. Titan advances on Apollo and cuts his spine, saying now he'll live in a prison like he did, and walks away.
Later, TV news reporter Allison Riley reports on Titan's attack. Jacob is there rand blames Batwoman for lunatics like Titan being on the street. He says that he sees Batwoman like a vigilantes, and promises that the Crows and the GCD will go after Batwoman and anyone who helps her.
In the Batcave, Mary is treating Kate's wounds as they both watch the newscast. Riley wonders if anyone can keep Gotham safe, and Mary pushes Kate's dislocated shoulder back into place. Luke comes in and says that he talked with Julia, and she thinks Kate should sit the fight out. Mary figures that Kate has a couple of cracked ribs, and tells Kate to avoid a rematch with Titan until she's recovered. Luke checks the old newspaper and discovers that the man Titan decapitated used to be an administrator until he fired for falsifying athletes' brain scans. They figure the d3ead man was one of the people who covered up Titan's injuries.
Alice tells Mouse that the rock is gone, and Mouse figures that they can leave. She says plucks out some of Mouse's eyebrows to make a mask for Hush, and Mouse points out that they're being hunted. He asks if her obsession with Kate is worth it if they end up dead, and Alice supposes that it is. Mouse tells her that it isn't and he's leaving. Alice asks where he's going, and he says that he's going to a beautiful garden with fountains like they always planned. She wonders how he'll survive on his own, and Muse tells her that he'll survive like he did in Arkham without her ever visiting him. Alice says that he can't leave her alone, and Mouse asks her to forget it and come with her. She tells Mouse that she wouldn't let him go without him, but says that they must leave Gotham with a party.
Luke digs into the neuro clinic records and discovers that the dead man faked Titans' brain scans. Titan's pain centers were destroyed by repeated head trauma. GU's coach, Donahue, took an early retirement right before the scandal broke, and Kate figures that Donahue is Titan's next target. Both Mary and Luke warn Kate against going out in her condition, but Kate refuses to stand down. Mary says that there is another idea, but she doesn't think Kate will like it.
When the Bat Signal is turned on, Crows operatives drop down onto the roof. Mary is there and says that she's there on behalf of Batwoman, and they cuff her. Jacob arrives and demands to know where Batwoman is, and Kate tells him that she's fine and everything is fine. He asks her how Batwoman got to her, and Mary gives him a phone and asks him to talk to Batwoman. ' Batwoman talks to Jacob and says that they need to discuss Titan. She suggests the they team up and take on Titan together: she needs the muscle, and Jacob needs her knowledge of how to draw Titan out. Jacob complains that Batwoman put Mary in danger, throws away the phone, and orders the Crows' off the roof. Once they go, Mary says that she contacted Batwoman and says that Jacob should change the Crows' image by allying with someone the people root for. She says that she believes in Batwoman, and Jacob reminds her that he said he'd arrest anyone who helped Batwoman. Mary tells him to arrest her for believing in someone who saves lives, and says that if she doesn't believe in what Jacob is doing, how can he expect a city of strangers to
Jacob points out that Batwoman doesn't have the guts to show her face, and Batwoman drops down behind him and says that she can't show him her face, but she can offer him a truce to protect the city together. Jacob looks at Mary and then takes Batwoman's extended hand.
Later, Allison meets at the stadium with Donahue. Donahue apologizes to Titan, saying that he's sorry he thought the game was more important than Titan was. He asks Titan to come to him and accept his apology in person, on the fifty-yard line.
Alice tells Mouse that she wants to perform a trauma bond exercise, where they destroy the thing that anchors them to their pain so they can move on. She holds the copy of 'Alice in Wonderland' that she had in as a child, then rips it in half and sets it on fire. Mouse says that he believes that no matter what happened to them, he wouldn't have gone through it with anyone except Alice. Alice says that same, cries, and tells Mouse that she still wants to join him in the beautiful garden and run with Mouse forever through their Wond3erland.
Mouse realizes that his nose is bleeding and stares at Alice in shock. She says that he made her choose, and Mouse wonders why he poisoned her. Alice tells him that she couldn't let him leave her and holds him as he dies. She says that he could never understand why she had to enact his revenge, because he's never experienced true betrayal until now. Alice tells Mouse--her brother and her everything-goodbye, and says that she'll see him again in Wonderland.
Sophie and Julia return to the Crows HQ and discover that the place is all but abandoned. Figuring that something is up, Sophie has Julia call Batwoman to warn her.
Jacob and Batwoman are the both at the stadium in contact with each other by radio. Batwoman knows that Jacob has his Crows in the stadium. Luke and Mary are monitoring Batwoman from the Batcave, and Julia texts Luke that Jacob has set a trap. When Luke warns Batwoman, she says that she'll be fine and she looked into Jacob's eyes as he shook her hand.
The lights go out and Luke tells Mary that someone cut the power. Titan knocks out the Crow agents one at a time, and Batwoman realizes that Titan is in the stadium. She drops onto the field and tells Donahue to go as Titan charges onto the field and attacks her. They fight and Batwoman reminds him of who he is, and what Apollo told her earlier. Titan says that he didn't want to be it, and Jacob and the Crows gun him down.
Batwoman yells that they didn't have to kill Titan, and the lights come up to reveal Jacob and his Crows surrounding her. He says that he promised her war and they're on the same team. Jacob and his men open fie. Batwoman's suit protects her and she rapples out, just as Sophie and Julia arrive. Sophie asks what they're doing, and Jacob just looks at her.
Back at the Crows HQ, Jacob tells Sophie and Julia that he sidelined them because they would have gone behind their team's back to protect a criminal. Sophie says that she's protecting Jacob from being on the wrong side of things and Batwoman offers hope to Gotham. Jacob tells Sophie that if it wasn't for Batwoman, Alice will still be in Arkham and hope isn't a luxury he has.
Once Jacob walks off, Sophie tells Julia that she and Jacob were tight, and wonders why Batwoman showed up despite Julia's warning. Julia realizes that Sophie doesn't believe that she warned Batwoman, and Sophie admits that she's look for flaws because she's terrified of being in a relationship with a woman. The other woman admits that she's being shady by design, and she met the wrong person and betrayed her: Safiyah. Julia refuses to say anything else for fear of pulling Sophie in, and Sophie says that she might want to be pulled in. Her lover gives her files photo of her and Sophie together that were left at her hotel.
Kate is sitting and drinking when Mary comes in and joins her. As she drinks, Batwoman says that she once pictured coming out as Batwoman to Jacob, and she looked him in the eyes and believe shim. Mary says that she believe him as well, and Kate says that she wrong about how being immune to harm when she put on the Batsuit. She tells Mary that Jacob's betrayal hurt her, and Mary says that Jacob loves Kate but hates Batwoman. Mary tells Kate that Jacob is wrong about thinking she's as crazy as Alice, and Kate thanks her for having her back earlier. They share a toast to sisters.
Luke comes in and shows them an envelope full of Kryptonite dust. He explains that he figured out how to destroy it using a hydraulic press. Kate says that they can't have any more secrets between them, and takes out the hidden piece of Kryptonite that Supergirl gave her for safekeeping. She refuses to give it over to Lu8ke, saying that it's not his to destroy, and she's asks them to trust her that they can't destroy it until she talks to Supergirl.
Jacob is sitting alone drinking, and an officer comes in and shows him the slugs proving that none of them could get through the Batsuit. Jacob figures that they'd better find something stronger.
Alice attaches the mask to Hush, and tells him that she finds him loathsome and uncouth. He sits up and looks at his new face in a mirror, and Alice tells him that she made his dreams come true by giving him the face of Bruce Wayne. She says that she needs him to go into Wayne Enterprises and get the shard of Kryptonite from Kate.
