Is instructive and valuable
Another of this company's folk-lore stories played by Maori people in New Zealand. It is a simple love story, giving an insight into the lives of these primitive folk and so is instructive and valuable. The great value of such offerings will be most apparent to those who know most. The average spectator looks upon them as something new and different; we have never had anything like them before and they seem to be taking very well. The photography is clear in most of the scenes; in some it is poor. - The Moving Picture World, May 10, 1913
