Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Wendy is imprisoned briefly, and separated from Lucy (her dog) for 3/4 of the movie. The movie gets pretty emotional after the separation. They re-unite at the end. But Wendy decides it is better for Lucy to stay with the adoptive family, than to suffer the hardships they faced again. However Wendy promises to return one day.
