Season 17, episode 42. Torben reacts cynical on everything Ben does. He blames Ben for ruining his relationship with Tina. Ben reacts annoyed. Gunter soon has his 65th birthday. Merle discusses with hotel manager Amelie the possibilities of a celebration with important people from the hotel branch. Gunter doesn't want a birthday party and Bruno means that he should let it be that way. Gunter tells Merle that he wants to spend his birthday only with her. Amelie assures Merle that the invitations have been send and an annulment wouldn't be good for the hotel's image. Henning draws an extra expert to the case of the sinkhole danger. This way Astrid can finally make use of her cheese store again. Carla avoids Gregor who shows no understanding for her breast cancer. Nikos and Britta worry about her because she looks sad and doesn't want to eat. How can they cheer her up? Oskar feels denigrated during ballet repetitions.
