Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan learner Ahsoka Tano find themselves on a mission with far-reaching consequences, one that brings them face-to-face with crime lord Jabba the Hutt. But Count Dooku and his sinister agents, including the nefarious Asajj Ventress, will stop at nothing to ensure that Anakin and Ahsoka fail at their quest. Meanwhile, on the front lines of the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Master Yoda lead the massive clone army in a valiant effort to resist the forces of the dark side ... Written by Warner Bros. Did You Know?

First Star Wars movie since Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) to feature an in-cockpit view of the jump to hyperspace. George Lucas purposely did not use this iconic shot in any of the prequels, so as not to lessen the impact of seeing it for the first time in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) (assuming one watches the movies in numerical order). When Anakin and Ahsoka exit the Twilight (approximately 1 hour and 19 minutes into the movie), Anakin is wearing the clone trooper backpack with Rotta in it. The backpack disappears several times between shots. See more »

Ahsoka Tano: So, if you're a captain, and I'm a Jedi, then technically I outrank you, right?
Captain Rex: I my book, experience outranks everything.

The force seem mix on this one
14 October 2015 | by TerryfanSee all my reviews

Star Wars: The Clone Wars to be honest with you feels like it could have been better off as a direct to video release. How this film got a theater release is a mystery.

The film took me four tries to watch and after finishing the film finally I can take the time to review the film.

I try to keep in mind that this film was gear to a younger crowd it also serve as the pilot to the TV show that would come later. Interesting enough I could be wrong but they took the first episodes written for the series and fuse them together to make this movie.

The results are a mix while it does introduce to the characters we know before and new characters.

Animation wise for this film does interesting work not bad design for the character models and the effects of the film work for the series to come.

Voice acting is a work ranging from good to huh? But there are some pretty funny wise cracks that got me to laugh so there is something for the adults. There is some nice music as well.

Also the film does film like a hour and 30 minute TV pilot while I give them points for putting it together they could have made it a Direct to Video or Made for TV movie it just not one strong enough for theaters

While Star Wars fans will enjoy it and it will work for the younger fans it just the results were not strong with the force as it could have been it's not a bad movie but just could have been more

I give Star Wars: The Clone Wars an 6 out of 10
