Christian Bale Reportedly Willing To Cameo In The Flash On One Condition

Christian Bale Reportedly Willing To Cameo In The Flash On One Condition
Based on how the cast is coming together, Barry Allen might be the least important part of his own solo movie unless the script for The Flash is up to scratch. The only headlines surrounding star Ezra Miller have been those of a negative variety, while the internet has been sent into raptures twice by the news that both Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck will be suiting up as Batman. Each of them are said to have substantial supporting roles, too, meaning that the Scarlet Speedster could find himself shunted into the background despite being the title hero and the driving force of the entire story.

Along with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, 2022 is certainly shaping up to be the year that alternate realities become a part of the very fabric of the superhero genre, and you can guarantee that both Marvel and DC will be keeping their

Here’s How Bruce Campbell Could Look As Alternate Nick Fury In Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness

Here’s How Bruce Campbell Could Look As Alternate Nick Fury In Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is easily one of the most-anticipated McU movies on the docket. The combination of the sequel’s unlimited scope, seeing as it’ll feature Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sorcerer Supreme crossing universes, and fan favorite filmmaker Sam Raimi behind the camera promises something special. And fans of Raimi know that where he goes, his longtime collaborator Bruce Campbell follows.

After appearances in virtually all of Raimi’s movies, including each one in the Spider-Man trilogy, it seems a safe bet he’ll turn up somewhere in Doctor Strange 2 as well. In fact, one awesome fan poster imagines the Evil Dead star showing up as an alternate Nick Fury, based on the classic version of the S.H.I.E.L.D. chief.

Artist @DanLiles78 shared the piece below which also depicts Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver and Eva Green as Nightmare.

New WandaVision Theory Says Scarlet Witch Will Be Revealed As The Villain

New WandaVision Theory Says Scarlet Witch Will Be Revealed As The Villain
After spending the vast majority of her time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a supporting character that’s been given very little to do, Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch is poised to become one of the most important parts of the franchise’s Phase Four. After all, Kevin Feige is hardly going to change his mind and say Wanda Maximoff has usurped Captain Marvel as the most powerful superhero in the shared universe without having plans in place to back it up.

As well as co-headlining Disney Plus exclusive WandaVision, Scarlet Witch is also set to take second billing behind Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sorcerer Supreme in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and the two projects will be directly connected to each other. The first trailer for WandaVision promised an entirely different look at the McU compared to anything we’ve seen before, and a new theory now

2021 Will Now Bring Us 4 McU Movies

2021 Will Now Bring Us 4 McU Movies
Today brought the news that fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe were dreading, as Black Widow was pushed back another six months. Natasha Romanoff’s long-awaited solo outing will now reach theaters a full year behind schedule, but that wasn’t the only Phase Four project hit by a further delay.

While it wasn’t as extensive as the last reshuffle that saw Marvel Studios’ entire slate of upcoming projects rearranged, Chloe Zhao’s Eternals was also shunted by nine months, and the McU’s next cosmic adventure now won’t be seen until November 2021. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings got off pretty lightly by comparison, moving from May to June of 2021, while Spider-Man 3, Thor: Love and Thunder and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness remain in their previously announced dates.

Marvel’s Shang-Chi Release Date Moved Back Once Again

Marvel’s Shang-Chi Release Date Moved Back Once Again
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has, once again, been shuffled farther down the release schedule of Disney’s Marvel Studios; a fate, typical of the times, now shared by some of its continuity cousins in the company’s latest move.

The latest schedule overhaul by Disney will see Shang-Chi shift its release date from its previously set May 7, 2021 date to July 9, 2021. The previous date was set during a similarly telluric Covid-minded upheaval to the schedule this past April, which moved the film from its February 12, 2021 spot. Thusly, to paraphrase the martial-arts-minded Marvel character’s inspirational figure, Bruce Lee, the release date of Shang-Chi has been formless, shapeless, like water. However, as mentioned, this is a fate shared by pretty much every offering on Disney’s backlog, and the latest move has knocked back titles such as Black Widow and Eternals.

Like pretty much every film and television production in the entertainment industry,

Marvel’s Black Widow Release Date Delayed to 2021

Marvel’s Black Widow Release Date Delayed to 2021
Disney has moved its next big Marvel Studios theatrical release, Black Widow, from November 6, 2020 to May 7, 2021.

The move was widely rumored and expected as the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic continues to play havoc with the theatrical exhibition business. There was even speculation that the Mouse House could premiere Black Widow on its Disney+ streaming platform, as it did this month with Mulan.

Black Widow’s shift also comes as part of a larger, major shake-up in Disney’s overall release schedule, with the company also moving other Marvel titles like Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Eternals, as well as releases such as Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story remake and Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile.

The release of Christopher Nolan’s Tenet earlier this month, while fairly successful overseas (over $200 million), has been a slow-rolling disaster in North America. Heralded as the tentpole-style blockbuster that

Watch: WandaVision TV Spot Features Some More Footage

Watch: WandaVision TV Spot Features Some More Footage
A new TV spot for Marvel’s WandaVision reveals a clip not seen in the full trailer. Our first proper look at the upcoming McU series arrived over the weekend, and fans were blown away by the promise of something totally unlike anything we’ve had in the franchise before now. Drawing from comic book storylines like House of M but adding its own warped sitcom-like twist, the show looks to be something special indeed.

As for the TV spot, it’s mostly a trimmed down version of the trailer but it does feature one new clip. At the end of the promo, Wanda enters her living room – in the black-and-white 50s period – and finds Vision, who says to her: “Welcome home.” Technically, this scene was shown in the Disney Plus ad released during the Super Bowl months ago, but we certainly haven’t seen it in this context before.

New McU Theory Explains How Vision Still Has The Mind Stone In WandaVision

New McU Theory Explains How Vision Still Has The Mind Stone In WandaVision
The first trailer for WandaVision arrived over the weekend and left fans reeling from its promise that the Disney Plus Marvel series will be like nothing we’ve ever seen before in the McU. What with its trippy nature, it’s left us with a lot of questions, which fans have been debating on social media. But one that’s been overlooked, though, is the mystery of how Vision still has the Mind Stone.

Vision died in Avengers: Infinity War when Thanos brutally removed the Infinity Gem from the android’s head. Due to not being wiped out by the Snap, he didn’t return in Avengers: Endgame but somehow, he’s alive and well and living a strangely idyllic, sitcom-like existence with girlfriend Wanda Maximoff in Wv. The weirdest thing, however, is that he’s still depicted as having the Mind Stone in his forehead in this trailer.

Marvel Studios’ WandaVision Trailer: Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany’s weird dialogues

Marvel Studios’ WandaVision Trailer: Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany’s weird dialogues
WandaVision Trailer is out now.

Disney and Marvel have dropped a one-minute trailer for the first Disney+ Marvel series during the Primetime Emmy Awards.

The highly anticipated new television series, WandaVision is one of several projects being developed by Marvel Studios for Disney’s streaming service Disney+ and it looks weird.

WandaVision follows the titular superheroes Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) living a life of domestic bliss in a weird new monochromatic world that looks like 1950s suburban America.

The trailer shows the new couple who have just moved to a new part of town and meeting new neighbours and are making new friends, including Katherine Hahn who's a “nosy neighbour”.

In addition to Olsen and Bettany, the series also stars Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Randall Park as FBI agent Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and the Wasp; and Kat Dennings as Jane Foster

Marvel Reportedly Wants John Krasinski As Alternate Universe Captain America

Marvel Reportedly Wants John Krasinski As Alternate Universe Captain America
Ever since Marvel Studios reacquired the rights to the Fantastic Four, John Krasinski has found himself heavily linked to the role of Reed Richards. There’s been plenty of fan art created that imagines how he would look as the character, and he’s admitted that it would be a conversation he’d be more than willing to have.

Of course, the 40 year-old almost joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe a decade ago when he was on the final shortlist of contenders to play the title hero in Captain America: The First Avenger. However, Chris Evans was always the first choice given that he was offered the part three times before he finally relented and signed on to what would become the defining performance of his entire career.

WandaVision Trailer Arrives, Teases Late 2020 Release Date

WandaVision Trailer Arrives, Teases Late 2020 Release Date
You think there’s a lot of Marvel programming out there now? Just you wait. Even with the unceremonious cancelation of Daredevil, the slightly more ceremonious cancelation of Iron Fist, and the inexcusable cancelation and Jessica Jones and the rest of the Marvel Netflix line, there will still be plenty of Marvel TV coming your way. Indeed, like a Hydra, cut off one Marvel TV show and two more shall take its place. Or in this case, one with two leads.

The first batch of Marvel TV shows on the upcoming Disney+ streaming service will include a series following the unlikely pairing of an android and a mutant (?) magic user/probability manipulator, Vision and the Scarlet Witch, with the title of WandaVision.

Jac Schaeffer, who wrote Captain Marvel, is writing, producing, and acting as showrunner. The show will also tie-into the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Watch: First WandaVision Trailer Teases A Whole New Reality
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier may have been oddly absent when Disney Plus announced their slate of August releases, but at least fans can rest easy knowing that WandaVision is still expected to hit the streaming site before 2020 comes to a close.

Set to be heavily connected to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and also plant the seeds for Scarlet Witch to become one of Phase Four’s major players and the most powerful hero in the McU, the reality-bending show will be a hugely important piece of the puzzle for Marvel Studios as they begin to unfold their next chapter of stories and now, we finally have a proper idea of what’s in store for us.

Though WandaVision was teased in the Disney Plus promo that dropped earlier this year, this trailer up above provides a much meatier look at the show, offering up a

Marvel Reportedly Eyeing Tom Cruise To Play Alternate Universe Iron Man

Marvel Reportedly Eyeing Tom Cruise To Play Alternate Universe Iron Man
Long before the Marvel Cinematic Universe was even a twinkle in Kevin Feige’s eye, there had been numerous attempts at bringing Iron Man to the big screen as the rights bounced around various studios. Universal tried as early as 1990 with Honey, I Shrunk the Kids director Stuart Gordon attached, while Quentin Tarantino was approached in 1999 when the project was set up at Fox.

The Notebook‘s Nick Cassavetes then signed on in 2004 under New Line Cinema, before things fell apart once more and the rights landed in the hands of upstart production company Marvel Studios in 2005. Following that, Jon Favreau and Robert Downey Jr. delivered one of the most important and influential blockbusters ever made, one which served as the launchpad for what would quickly become the most lucrative and popular franchise that Hollywood had ever seen.

Of course, Rdj bowed out as Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame, but

Joaquin Phoenix Offered $50M to Return for 2 Joker Sequels?
Warner Bros. is reportedly quite serious about getting Joaquin Phoenix back, not only for Joker 2, but for another sequel as well, which would complete a trilogy. Joker arrived last year and became an unexpectedly huge hit both critically and commercially, controversial though it may have been. As such, the studio seems intent on getting Phoenix back under the makeup for another go as the DC villain. As incentive, they are said to be offering him a boatload of cash.

According to a new report, Joaquin Phoenix is being offered $50 million to return for Joker 2 and 3. Warner Bros. is said to be hopeful that the movies could be ready to go in 2022 and 2024, respectively. This comes after Phoenix took home the Best Actor Oscar earlier this year at the Academy Awards, capping off a huge awards season run. Plus, Joker took in more than $1 billion at the box office,

Tom Welling Reportedly In Talks To Cameo In The Flash
When Ezra Miller made a surprise cameo appearance on The Flash, it opened the door to the possibility that the big screen Dceu and The CW’s Arrowverse could potentially cross over in the future, especially when the Scarlet Speedster’s feature length solo debut is poised to introduce the multiverse, meaning that technically nothing is off limits.

The show’s executive producer Eric Wallace certainly hopes that turns out to be the case, and Warner Bros. will be looking to pull out all the stops to establish their multiverse as the one to beat, especially with Kevin Feige reportedly planning on loading up his Doctor Strange sequel with cameos to steal some of The Flash‘s thunder.
