Principal Speaker of the Green Party Caroline Lucas MEP and Political Blogger Iain Dale reviewed the Sunday news papers with Andrew Marr. Via video link Ieuan Wyn Jones AM, Plaid Cymru leader, spoke to Andrew about the upcoming local elections in Wales where all seats are up for grabs. Actor Jeremy Irons spoke to Andrew about his latest job playing former Prime Minister Harold Macmillan. Andrew interviewed Shadow Chancellor George Osborne MP about the current revolt in Parliament caused by the abolition of the ten pence tax rate which has hit the poorest members of society hardest and what his party will do about it. Musician Billy Bragg, talked to Andrew about his life and latest work. Chancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling MP spoke to Andrew about the current tax situation and what will be done in the future and the current "Credit Crunch" crisis.
