Storyline

In Feudal Japan, Half-Demon twins Towa and Setsuna are separated from each other during a forest fire. While desperately searching for her younger sister, Towa wanders into a mysterious tunnel that sends her into present-day Japan, where she is found and raised by Kagome Higurashi's brother, Sota, and his family. Ten years later, the tunnel that connects the two eras has reopened, allowing Towa to be reunited with Setsuna, who is now a Demon Slayer working for Kohaku. But to Towa's shock, Setsuna appears to have lost all memories of her older sister. Joined by Moroha, the daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome, the three young women travel between the two eras on an adventure to regain their missing past. Written by Viz Media

Trivia

Due to the passing away of Kôji Tsujitani, Makoto Yasumura replaces him as the voice of Miroku for the Japanese version. Coincidentally his original English voice actor Kirby Morrow would pass away after he reprised his role for the first episode Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon: Are kara no Inuyasha (2020), and it is currently unknown if he will be replaced. Loses Originality
12 January 2021 | by xxuserisherexxSee all my reviews

It loses what everyone loved about Inuyasha. Instead of being a cute spin off of a romance where they have to find out what happened to their parents, we have this. It doesn't capture what everyone loved about the initial series. The three main characters personality traits don't really resemble their parents. Moroha has the spunky attitude of her dad but, doesn't resemble her mom personality at all. I Hope theres better character development later on. It's also missing the romance.... and if any of the three main characters fall in love that would be a little interesting. You can tell it's written off to be a longer series. Thats unfortunate because whatever new content the creators come up with will take away from the original story.
