A film which is certainly a novelty. Here is an elopement by aeroplane, a forecast of the future which may contain more facts than seems probable now. The escape of the bride from the detested would-be husband and the couple's flight are admirably managed, though the painted scenery where the automobile goes over the cliff is scarcely good enough to make it seem real. The picture is full of life and action, however lacking it may be in dramatic quality, but is nevertheless novel and interesting. We do not recall another film from this firm, but if they are all as good as this its output will be welcomed. - The Moving Picture World, October 9, 1909
