It's the character Brandy I cannot stand. I get it that she is a foil for her sister Mary's character. She really does that well, in fact. Of course she is also beautiful, no question. I just cannot respect her character! The kind of person she represents, being irresponsible, flighty, and no career irritates me! Mary is so good in many ways and she is tough, really cares about people, and so dependable. The contrast between the two just makes me like her even less. Now, this episode, she does show a great side to her character, giving the baby her bear and reassuring the baby. I don't know if her character were at least ameliorated, I would be able to tolerate her more. Perhaps. I have watched this series multiple times and I keep watching it, so I guess it doesn't get to me that much!
