Revenge and Idiocy
Hitchcoc24 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The principle story is about a woman and her daughter, shot in their homes. When it is looked into, the husband who arrived home late is looked at with more scrutiny. It turns out he was the principle suspect in the death of a private investigator. That PI's death has led to all kinds of difficulties for his adult children who have carried the weight on their backs--guilt and depression. A second story is about a car crashing into a tree. It turns out that some teenagers were out smashing mailboxes with baseball bats. The householder, who has had four of these destroyed, puts concrete in one and when it is hit, there is no give. This episode has always bugged me. I don't feel he is culpable because he is protecting his property. It is an act of violence to smash peoples property. Those jerks initiated this. He should be able to do what he wants with his mailbox. Nick thinks because he acted like a fool in high school, kids should be able to vandalize and attack people's property. There. My soapbox.

Three Strange Cases
claudio_carvalho8 April 2023
When Janelle Rowe is found dead on the floor of her kitchen with her daughter Nora deeply wounded, Grissom, Greg, Riley and Brass investigate the crime scene. Soon, the Janelle's husband Pete Rowe arrives at the apartment and is taken to the precinct. Soon they find Pete was prime suspect of murdering the private investigator Trevor Murphy twelve years ago, but he was never charged since the body was not found. Meanwhile, Catherine, Nick and Cavaliere investigate the murder of two high-school students that died in a car crash on a tree while playing mailbox baseball, a game in which the participant swings baseball bat at mailboxes while the car is traveling. Grissom goes to the mental institution, where Natalie "Miniature Killer" Davis will be judged to be transferred from the hospital to prison.

"Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda" is an episode of "CSI" with three strange cases. The first of a man suspect of murdering a private investigator and family man, with a surprised and tragic conclusion. The second, about two reckless teenagers that die in a car crash since a citizen put concrete in his mailbox that has been destroyed many times. The conclusion is absurd, since the man is protecting his property against vandals. The last with the return of the Miniature Killer, with the weir discovery that Grissom makes in the end. My vote is seven.

Episode Written by a Criminal
scottstigall7 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The episode must've been written by a former juvenile delinquent who sympathies with teenage thugs who vandalize people's property and justify it as "kids being kids". It's not a crime to fill your mailbox with concrete. Nobody has to play Mailbox baseball and it is not foreseeable that someone could die from hitting your mailbox. If so, it's just as foreseeable that someone could accidentally run into your mailbox and die. No way you would be convicted for murder for others negligent acts little less their intentional criminal acts.
