- In the long ago Maconian empire Krod Mandoon is young, handsome, brave - and very clumsy. (His name is Dork spelled backwards, after all.) With his band of freedom fighters, lusty pagan girlfriend Aneka, devoted ex-slave Loquasto and Zezelryck, a fake sorcerer who talks like the donkey in 'Shrek' he is on a mission to free his mentor General Arcadius. Arcadius has been imprisoned by evil chancellor Dongalor who kills his counsellors for criticizing his trousers and possesses a weapon of mass destruction - which he will activate if he can translate its runic instructions. After a tavern brawl with hostile Myrmidons Krod's group obtain the keys to the dungeons, due to Aneka's sexual wiles rather than any martial skills, and free the General, his camp boyfriend Bruce and other political prisoners. However, the General takes an arrow (or several) intended for Krod and, dying, tells his young disciple that he is now the chosen one who can rid the empire of the evil chancellor. Dongalor captures Krod but he escapes with the help of Horst Draper, one of the prisoners he freed. He also sees off an assassin sent by Dongalor to kill him. He is somewhat put out that Aneka, in the guise of disposing of the enemy, is so free with her sexual favours and splits with her. However, the General appears to him in a vision, explaining that she will help him to get rid of Dongalor and their destinies are entwined. Krod dashes off and saves her from another assassin, who is standing in a line of men waiting to pleasure her. They are reconciled.—don @ minifie-1
- We open with the story of Krod Mandoon himself: "The son of a blacksmith and a stay-at-home mom," Krod is the leader of a small band of freedom fighters and could potentially be the leader the resistance has been waiting for.
Krod enters a tavern full of the evil Chancellor Dongalor's soldiers. Pretending to be loyal to Dongalor himself Krod finds out one of the soldiers has keys to Dongalor's dungeon which houses General Arcadius. After showing a sheath designed by his father, Krod reveals himself to the guard. He reveals that he is joined by his girlfriend (Aneka), an ogre-looking guy (Loquasto) and a sorcerer (Zezelryck). Krod gets the keys but returns to discuss the fact the guard referred to him as "worm-faced." This results in the gang being forced to fight the entire tavern. Loquasto is a terrible shot with the crossbow and Zezelryck isn't much of a sorcerer. During the fight Krod's sword catches on fire -- he says, "It has been doing that, should I get it looked at?" Aneka appears from a side room with the keys and the group flees as the building burns.
Cut to Dongalor's castle. He tells right-hand man Barnabus that he is not concerned with Krod's possible role in the rebellion. The two knew each other in military academy. When it is mentioned that the Emperor is concerned about Krod and the rebels, Dongalor says the Emperor should fear only him as he is in possession of the Eye of Gulga Grymna.
Our heroes have a post-fight discussion. Krod is concerned about Zezelryck's mediocre spell-casting. He is also concerned Aneka's outfit is too revealing. She gives him a dubious explanation for how she got the keys. They are heading to the palace to free Arcadius.
Dongalor explains to a group of nobles that the Eye of Gulga Grymna, the most powerful weapon in the world, will help bring the lowly province of Hessemeel out of obscurity. Given its powers, a noble suggests they turn the Eye over to the Emperor. After accidentally killing the wrong noble, Dongalor has the man hauled away for torture.
Krod and his gang liberate the prisoners from Donagalor's dungeon. They find Arcadius is alive and well. He credits his survival of two weeks in the co-ed dungeon to male cellmate Bruce, "my everything." While locking up the soldiers Loquasto accidentally traps them in the dungeon.
When Dongalor discusses taking the Eye out for a test drive he is reminded by Barnabus that they have yet to find its key. A team of experts are reading the Eye's hieroglyphics in an attempt to uncover the key's location.
Aneka says if she has five minutes alone with one of the guards she can find a way out of their predicament. Krod "forbids" her, which leads to an argument. Aneka reminds him she is a Pagan and that sex is just another one of her weapons. She rattles of a list of times she has used this power to get them out of sticky situations, including getting the time from a man, even though they were standing under the town's clock. Loquasto knocks down a wall and they start to leave the dungeon just as Dongalor and his men arrive. Dongalor's fires an arrow at Krod but Arcadius steps in front of him. Krod informs them that it'll take more than one arrow to finish off the great Arcadius. In response, dozens more arrows follow, as well as a crossbow bolt, as Arcadius is finished off. As Arcadius lay dying he tells Krod "you are Angamora."
