The Chief's latest plan is to mutilate X's mind so she gives up all hope. On Earth, Miss Bloom stops by the house to inquire about the kids absence from school. Before father can offer an explanation, she interrupts to reveal she knows the truth about the family - they're descendants of Louis XVII and members of the French royal family. Qwrk's violin teacher, Mr Hohenhaus, is impressed with his playing. Troubled by the pain for his abducted sister, Qwrk's friend Melissa helps him cope with his problems. Miss Bloom stops in to see the Froggatts to discuss Michelle's bullying but Mr Froggatt threatens to withdraw his annual chocolate donation to the school fete. Jenny and Colin sneak into the cells to rescue Jenny and Lox but a suspicious roobot is following them. Mr Froggatt laments about modern society - "A perfect world is were everybody thinks the same way. And where there is a team of enforcers to see to it - and track down anyone who tries to revolt." X continues to hold out and Jady suggests the next step is to convince X her family has stopped loving her. X won't give up and still believes someone will come to rescue her. David comes to the house looking for Astrella. Father and Qwrk explain she's gone away - to visit Charlotte - who's with Colin and Jenny. Jenny and Colin venture deeper into the prison but Jenny discovers he's left a trail of jelly beans from a hole in his bag - and the roobot is tracking them. They flee but run straight into the Chief who locks them up with X and Lox. In the community centre, Dovis and Yorp learn of Jenny and Colin's capture. X is taken away for the start of her trial.
