Storyline

Five years after the events of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007), Russia is in political turmoil once again. Vladimir Makarov, a brutal leader and former associate of Imran Zakhaev, has set in motion a series of events that will threaten global security. Goofs

Makarov wants Russia convinced that the airport attack was acted purely by American terrorists, hence his men speaking only English and using US NATO weapons. Makarov is a well known terrorist, yet he does not wear a mask, nor do his men. The security cameras, and even potential survivors could have recognized him. Furthermore, Makarov did lose one of his men in the attack, who could have been identified as a Russian. Furthermore, Pvt Allen could have killed them in the airport right before or during the massacre. See more »

Wow...
17 November 2009 | by DVman245See all my reviews

Where to begin? well, the plot, with twists and all, is brilliant and enjoyable. I found myself shocked and surprised at what i thought were the key moments to be shocked and surprised, which was a definite plus.

I also enjoyed the idea of a different attachment with each weapon and had fun playing around with this for hours on end! What i was stunned by were the graphics. A great improvement from a great previous game! I couldn't believe what i was seeing half the time! Multiplayer is excellent, with more incentive to play and try out different mixes of equipment in each match.

Overall, a great sequel, hats off to infinity ward, well done guys!
